RANA DHILLON

Rana Dhillon is an Australian Neurosurgeon with subspecialty interests in cervical myelopathy, endoscopic pituitary and skull base surgery, and trigeminal neuralgia.

 

Rana was born and brought up in Melbourne. He has a M.B.B.S/B.A from the University of Melbourne, and a M.Phil from the University of Cambridge. His thesis was on cellular mechanisms underpinning recovery from cervical spondylotic myelopathy. He completed his Neurosurgery training at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, Royal Hobart Hospital, John Hunter Hospital (Newcastle), Royal Melbourne Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. He then undertook fellowships in minimally invasive spine surgery (Melbourne) and skull base surgery (Cambridge). He has hospital appointments as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, University Hospital Geelong and Epworth Geelong. His principal rooms are at Geelong Neurosurgery, and he also consults in East Melbourne and Fitzroy North.
